What is your name? What is your age? What is your village?
Vimlesh Rajporohit. I am 14, from Lunewas.

When did you come to the hostel?
I’ve been here three years.

Describe your family. Describe the family members, who they are, their ages, etc. Tell how it is to live with your family. What were the hardships and challenges that you faced, living at home?
There are mom and dad. We are four sisters and one brother. Two of my sisters are married.
My father is an ex-serviceman, who is now a farmer.

What did you do before you came to the hostel? Work? Study?
I studied. I like Hindi, Math and English.

What challenges do you encounter here at the hostel?
None.

Do you like the hostel, the school? In what ways do you like or dislike them?
There is a chance to study well. I have many good friends because the atmosphere is friendly. I like to play handball and cricket with my friends.

What makes you happy?
I like to study. I study because it will help me in my life. I love to talk and gossip with my group of friends. I’m happy that Veerni discovered me and offered me this opportunity.

If you had three wishes, what would you wish for?
I want to finish my education before I marry.

What would you like to do in the future?
I want to become a police woman. Police women support other women. Police women are the idols of all women. You have to be physically and mentally strong.

What is your favorite thing?
Eating Bengali sweets!!

Tell me about your mother.
She’s a simple woman. She’s completed the fifth form. She’s nice.

What makes you cry?
I cry when I fight with my classmates.
